OUTBACK books and magazines

R.M.Williams OUTBACK is a bi-monthly magazine published six times a year. It focuses on life beyond the big cities of Australia – anywhere that is remote, different, challenging and non-urban.

Since 1998 OUTBACK magazine has stayed true to a central task – telling the stories of the bush and focusing on the positives that can be found there. This was what drove Reginald Murray Williams when he set up his first publishing business back in the 1940s, printing long-running titles like Hoofs and Horns magazine and The Bushman’s Handcrafts. We are proud to continue this legacy to chronicle the bush and in turn, inspiring others.

Alongside OUTBACK magazine, we produce a fortnightly podcast and a range of publications including Stations and Great Australians magazine, as well as books, calendars, diaries, and more, all which celebrate the heart of Australia.
